            英语“是（系动词be）”的现在时用法总结

一、口诀

I大写用am你用are :        I am和you are  简写：I’m和you’re

Is用于他、她、它:          he is, she is, it is      简写：he’s、she’s和it’s

我们、你们、他们全用are： we are、you are和they are  简写：we’re、you’re和they’re

单数用is:    My mother isa teacher.  简写：My mother’sa teacher.

              This isa book.That isa car. (This is、That is不可简写)
               There is a dollon the chair. (There is表示存在的东西是单数或不可数)

复数全用are:The boys arestudents. Tom and Lily aregood friends.

              These areboys.（these是This的复数形式，these are不可简写）

Those are girls. （those是That的复数形式,those are不可简写）

              There are two orangeson the table.（There are表示存在的东西是复数）

说明：以there开头的句子，若主语在两个或两个以上，用is还是用are决定于与其临近的主语，若与其临近的主语是单数，则用is，若与其临近的主语是复数，则用are:

There is a bookand three pens on the desk.（与其临近的主语是a book，单数，所以用is）

There are three pensand a book on the desk.(与其临近的主语是three pens，复数，所以用are)

二、否定加not

 我不是： I am nota bad boy. 简写：I’m not a bad boy.（ 不简成：I amn’t a bad boy.）

 你不是： You are not abad boy.简写：You aren’t a bad boy.（不简成You’re not a bad boy.）

 他不是： He is nota bad boy.简写：He isn’ta bad boy.（不简成：He’s nota bad boy.）

 她不是： She is nota bad girl.简写：She isn’ta bad girl.（不简成：She’s not  a bad girl.）

 它不是： It is nota book.  简写：It isn’ta book.   （不简成：  It’s not   a book.）

 我们不是：We are notstudents.简写：We aren’tstudents.（不简成 ：We’re not students.）

 你们不是：You are notstudents.简写：You aren’tstudents.(不简成：You’re not students.）

 他们不是：They are notstudents.简写：They aren’tstudents.(不简成: They’re not students.）

这不是： This is nota book.

 那不是： That is nota cat.

 这些都不是：These are not red pencils.
